Pacific Pride Foundation's 3rd Annual Royal Ball was held at Bacara Resort & Spa on Saturday April 12, 2014, with over 600 attendees at the oceanfront resort and acclaimed celebrity hideout. The Royal Ball transported patrons to a fabulous evening in gay Paris, filled with glamour, opulence, magnificent music and alluring guests. Royal butlers served cocktails and canapés on silver trays beneath a 40-foot Eiffel Tower from which hung a magnificent crystal chandelier. The hottest LA go-go dancers entertained the crowd, along with world-renowned stilt performers and the beautiful Flamenco dancer Timo Nunez. LA DJ Derek Monteiro kept the party moving until the early morning hours. With our team leading the committees, we were able to exceed the nonprofit's financial goals bringing in the highest net in their 37 year history. Pacific Pride is the largest LGBT and HIV/AIDS Community Service Center between Los Angeles and San Francisco with offices and staffing in both cities of Santa Barbara and Santa Maria. Merryl Brown Events was the winner of two major, national awards for this event.
"I've been to a lot of events at Bacara but this was by far the coolest. Wow! Every inch of the room and terrace was stunning. More importantly, what an amazing vibe! Great energy - everyone was at ease - felt like an intimate evening with close friends. Congratulations."
